The new Supernova Glide 4 with FORMOTION™ technology
helps runners conquer concrete with every stride. It
offers runners yet another performance (r)evolution of
the beloved franchise with brand-new features and
additional benefits for cushioning, comfort and
durability with every stride.
The Supernova Glide 4 features the FORMOTION™ technology, a freely
moving de-coupled heel system, which helps the shoe
adapt to every individual running style. Comparable to
the functionality of an airplane’s landing gear, it
adjusts to the running surface to cushion the landing
and assist the runner’s take-off with every stride.
The shoe also includes well-known adidas owned technologies such as
adiPRENE® which cushions and protects the heel at
impact, full forefoot adiPRENE®+ which protects the
forefoot for an improved toe-off, and the fully
engineered TORSION® system to provide a unique
transition from heel to toe.
Additional benefits include new GEOFIT™+, which uses FitFoam™ to mould
the shoe to the shape of the foot, reduces irritation
and guarantees a comfortable and secure fit.
It also features new ZONEMOTION which improves transition, grip and
durability, and the active FORMOTION™ unit in the
midfoot which improves the runner’s foot strike during
the transition phase by adapting to the foot’s natural
movement.
Supernova Glide 4 is also miCoach compatible and offers the use of
miCoach SPEED_CELL™.
