      Recd my 1000 Mile vest a few weeks ago (from SimplyRun) and have done about 10 night runs since. Vest is very lightweight and you would not know you are wearing it. Does not add any protection from elements as you would expect. Fastening is by a couple of velcro circles on the lower of the vest and stay put during my 8 mile runs. Not too sure about how reflective it is, although was told by a passing cyclist I was 'well lit' although I do wear a head torch and flouro armbands too. Downsides - bit odd getting it on as its so lightweight and I find the velcro hooks grab onto any part of the material and have to be removed gently so not to tear the material. Could maybe have used a few more Scotchlite panels? That stuff must be really expensive as there are only a few small panels on the back. Would have got 4 stars for more Scotchlite.
