It takes just a matter of seconds for your current heart rate to be clearly displayed on the large LCD screen. The SE138 is well suited for use in the swimming pool, where heart rate chest straps will not give accurate readings, the SE138 has not got a heart rate activation button, meaning that the user can gain an ECG accurate heart rate, without running the risk of damaging the watch unit.
